Creativity is what moves and shakes us. We are pleased to announce two exceptional leaders and creative visionaries at the helm of NK’s inspired design services.

Mandy Richards

Mandy Richards has been a major creative force at NK for over 7 years. She is now leading the charge as Creative Director, with a proven ability to translate client objectives into artful, effective, on-brand solutions. She was previously Associate Creative Director at NK, where in addition to executing exceptional creative work, she brought an ability to foster the kind of collaboration and creative spirit where our best work comes to light. She first worked at Full Circle Marketing & Design in Grand Rapids upon arrival in Michigan, coming from Tennessee and a designer position at Tractor Supply Company. Mandy earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and is known around town as one of the best newborn photographers in the biz.

Clay Skougard

Clay Skougard joins NK as Associate Creative Director. Clay has over 25 years of experience as a senior-level creative – directing, officiating, and doing – in B2B, B2C, film/TV, automotive, gaming, pharmaceutical and spirits. His work has been recognized as exemplar not only by his clients but by the Oscars and the Grammy, Key Art, Webby and EDDIE Awards. Beyond that hardware we love Clay’s adaptability and ability to speak UI/UX, ride a mean bike, transform images into blockbuster posters: You name it. Work at VSA Partners and the like landed him at the forefront of brand initiatives for McDonald’s, Wrigley, Mars, Oscar Mayer, Universal Pictures and Paramount Studios. Clay is a graduate of San Diego State University and sat on the Advisory Board for Art Institute of Chicago. He has a passion for nonprofits and has worked with Illinois Children & Family Services and the International Dyslexia Association.
